Opening Times:

The museum and gardens are open daily from 30th March 2009 to 1 November 2009. Opening times are from 10.30am to 5.00pm in March, April, May, September & October and from 10.30am to 5.30pm in June, July & August. Last admission is one hour before closing.

The Gallopers run every day. Mondays and Tuesdays outside the school or public holidays are non-steam days when a diesel train runs on the Nursery Railway.

Prices:

Your day membership allows entry as described plus a complimentary guide book or discount vouchers for the museum shop.

Museum Entry with Narrow Gauge Railways and Gallopers Rides:

Steam Day: Adult £12, Concession £10.50, Child £8
Non-Steam Day: Adult £9.50, Concession £9.00, Child £6.50
Entry Only: Adult £8, Concession £7.50, Child £4.50 
Season Ticket: Adults £25, Concession £20, Child £18 

Entry after 3.30pm: Adult £6, Concession £5, Child £4

Bressingham Steam and Gardens is a registered Charity.
Please note that the donations listed above enable the Charity to reclaim Gift Aid if the visitor is a Tax Payer.

If you do not wish to donate to the museum, you can opt to pay the standard entrance price which is £1 less for individuals and between £2 and £4 less for family tickets. 

 

 

 

  • There is a small supplementary charge for some special events please telephone museum or visit Forthcoming Events for more details.
  • Please note that on the gallopers, consecutive rides are not permitted and rides are normally limited to three per person.
  • Accredited volunteers and Friends of the Museum have access to the Museum and Gardens at all times when the Museum is open.
  • Special Arrangements are available for school parties, the disabled and for other parties of over 12 persons. Please telephone the Museum for details.
  • Every effort will be made to operate to the programme and prices set out in the Museum brochure and on this web site but Bressingham reserves the right to make alterations when this is unavoidable. 

    Directions:

    The Steam Museum and Gardens are located at Bressingham near Diss in Norfolk, England. We are "brown" Tourist Board signposted and easy to find, just 2½ miles west of Diss and 14 miles east of Thetford on the A1066. 

    Regular trains call at Diss Station, on the main line from Norwich to London, Liverpool Street.
